City of Starbucks Origins, that has spewed off a massive coffee drinking culture, with either a Starbucks or some other artisan coffee brewery in every corner.
City of Microsoft, Amazon, Costco, Nordstorm and many others apart from Starbucks.
Some of the cities main attractions are by these big corporations themselves, like the Amazon Day1 (where Jeff Bezos sits) which has the Amazon Go store at the ground floor, the Amazon Greenhouse, and the first ever Starbucks store (which still retains its original logo in brown) to name a few.
Also the city of Eddie Vedder, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Visiting a grunge rock bar would make a great experience.
Pike market is the main area to visit, housing the first Starbucks store, a famous Russian bakery called Phirosky Pirosky and the entire fish market that originally made up pike market.
Seattle has an entire downtown area much like the cities of Europe. However, it's fairly big, and staying as closer to a pike market, the heart of Seattle's downtown is prudent.
Within Pike market, stay in a hotel or BNB that offers a view of the lake. Its west facing, and the sunset sights are mesmerising.
Seafood is amazing. The top recommendations are the dungeness crab and smoked salmon.
Crab Pot in Pike market is a great place to try the Dungeness crab.
Drizzly is the local alcohol delivery app to order home delivery since most restaurants only deliver food and not alcohol.
Blown glass works are everywhere. Chihuly museum next to the Needle has some great exhibits, including a live demo of a glass work creation.
Seattle Wheel and Needle are two touristy things to do, but if you can stay in a place with a view, these can be completely given a slip.
The trams in the city are called streetcars.
Traffic lights in yellow colours imply being solar powered.

Pick up trucks just called trucks. F150 popular. And you see them all over the place. Some even with big guns hanging at the back.
One of the few states that allow firing an automatic weapon. So that becomes one of the top draws (quite literally) of Austin.
The other big thing to do in Austin is the Barbeque. Frederic’s is the most popular, but usually has a waiting line of 3 hours in the blistering sun where the only respite is waiting with a beer in hand.
Driskill is the famous hotel where Pierce Brosnans Pan Bagaar ad was shot. Can see it on the 6th street.
What 6th street is really visited for is the night life. Absolutely incredible! The hottest girls in littlest clothes, dancing like crazy.
Vulcan is a club on 6th street where all of this can be experienced in close quarters.
ID cards are mandatorily checked for entrance into any club, irrespective of how old you look. So carry them around everywhere.
Austin is also home to the worlds first Whole Foods store, for those interest in this awesome piece of organic retailing.
